By downloading, installing, or using World Quest ("the App", "Service"), you ("parent", "guardian", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and EverRun ("we", "us", "our"), the developer and operator of World Quest. The App is intended for use by children ages 3–12 under parental supervision and consent.
World Quest is designed for children. By allowing your child to use the App, you confirm that:
Children under 13 must have verifiable parental consent to use any features that involve data collection. The core App experience requires no account and collects no personal data from children.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

The App is available free of charge. The free tier includes access to a selection of countries, stories, and quizzes. Free tier users may see non-personalised advertisements (see our Privacy Policy for details on how ads are served).
World Quest Premium unlocks the full app experience including all 195 countries, 500+ stories, all flashcard packs, and removes all advertising. Premium is available as:
Prices are displayed in the App in your local currency at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are set by the respective app store.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
If offered, a free trial converts automatically to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends. Only one free trial per Apple ID or Google account is permitted.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to the respective store. We do not process refunds directly. Apple and Google's refund policies apply.
All content within the App — including but not limited to stories, illustrations, maps, quiz questions, country information, GeoBot responses, the "World Quest" name, logo, and design — is owned by EverRun or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our prior written consent.
Country facts and geographical information are provided for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of any geographic or factual data.
World Quest does not include social features, public profiles, or user-generated content. The only user input is the optional Explorer Name (stored locally on the device and never transmitted to our servers). There is no mechanism for children to post, share, or communicate with other users within the App.
World Quest includes GeoBot, an AI-powered tutor that answers geography questions. GeoBot is:
GeoBot responses are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate. We recommend parents review AI interactions as appropriate. We reserve the right to modify or remove GeoBot at any time.
You agree to use the App only for its intended educational purpose. You agree not to attempt to:
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EverRun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, loss of profits, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain damages — in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time. We may also update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We will not reduce Premium subscribers' access mid-subscription without appropriate notice or refund.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends and locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the App.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
